English for work and exams
For Spanish speakers who need English that works in real situations: interviews, meetings, emails and exams. I'm a native British English speaker and I grew up in Spain, so when something doesn't make sense, I can explain it in Spanish.
Who it's for
- You've got a job interview in English coming up.
- You use English at work and get stuck in meetings and on calls.
- You're preparing for a Cambridge exam such as B2 First or C1 Advanced.
- You studied English at school but find it hard to speak.
What we can cover
- Job interviews: talking about your experience and answering the questions you didn't expect.
- Meetings and calls: giving your opinion, disagreeing politely and keeping up.
- Emails and messages that sound natural, not too formal and not too blunt.
- Exam practice: speaking and writing tasks with honest feedback.
- Pronunciation, and the British expressions that confuse people.
How lessons work
We meet by video call for 50 minutes, and you do most of the talking. I note what trips you up and we work on it, and you can ask for an explanation in Spanish whenever you need one. I've worked in IT project management, so I know what meetings and calls in English are like.
